TRENDY NA WIOSNĘ 2018 / TRENDS FOR SPRING 2018

CIEMNY DŻINS / DARK BLUE DENIM

Dżins jak wiemy, zawsze jest modny, ale w tym sezonie widzimy go w pełnej okazałości. Występuje on w total look'u - czyli w od stóp do głów.

 Denim, as we know, is always in fashion, however in this season, we see it in its full glory. It is present in total looks - i.e. from head to toes.

 FRĘDZLE / FRINGES

Frędzle, zazwyczaj występujące na dodatkach typu torebki czy buty, tym razem pojawiają się jako główny element zdobiący wszystkie rodzaje odzieży - kurtki, płaszcze, bluzki. Frędzle mają się rzucać w oczy.

Fringes, which usually adorn accessories such as bags or shoes, this time appear as the main element present on every piece of clothing - jackets, coats, t-shirts. Fringes must strike the eye.

 KRATA / CHECKS

Różne kolory, rozmiary i orientacja kratki, ale przede wszystkim łączymy ją ze sobą. Z chaosu powstaje nam ciekawy efekt.

Different colours, sizes and orientation of checks, but most of all we combine them together. From chaos we get interesting effect.

KWIATY / FLOWERS 

Miranda Priestly ("Diabeł ubiera się u Prady") powiedziałaby "Kwiaty na wiosnę? Odkrywcze!". Lecz tym razem możemy odpowiedzieć Mirandzie: "A jednak!". Nie chodzi o to, ze kwiaty same w sobie są odkrywcze, ponieważ one zawsze są modne, nie tylko wiosną. Lecz na wiosnę 2018 roku będą albo ogromne, albo malutkie, ale jedno jest pewne - będzie ich bardzo dużo.

Miranda Priestly (The Devil Wears Prada) would say "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking!". But this time we may answer: "Yes, indeed!". It is not that flowers are groundbreaking as an idea, for they are always in fashion, not only in spring. But in the spring 2018 they will be either enormous or tiny, and one thing is clear - there will be a lot of them.

NERKA / FANNY PACK

Nerka to bardzo wygodna alternatywa dla toreb i torebek, a do tego jest w stanie pomieścić wszystkie najważniejsze rzeczy - klucze, portfel, telefon. Na wiosnę zestawiamy ją w nietypowych, także eleganckich strojach - z żakietami, marynarkami, sukienkami. Możemy użyć jej także jako paska.

Fanny pack (or bumbag) is a very comfortable alternative for bags and what is more, there will be room for everything that is necessary - keys, wallet, phone. In spring we combine it with untypical, also elegant outfits - with coats, blazers, dresses. It can also serve as a belt.

 PASTELE / PASTELS 

Pastele oczywiście nosimy, jak wiele innych trendów na wiosnę 2018, w total look'u. Na wybiegach najczęściej pojawiały się pastelowy róż, fiolet i niebieski, ale nie zabrakło także zieleni czy żółci. Bardzo dużo ciekawych pastelowych zestawów możemy zaobserwować u Versace. 

We wear pastels, as many other 2018 trends for spring, in total look. On catwalks most frequently we saw pastel pink, purple and blue, but also green and yellow. Many amazing pastel (total look) outfits we could admire in the Versace's show.

PIÓRA / FEATHERS 

Zaskakująco, pióra pojawiają się wiosną 2018 roku wszędzie - i u góry - na sukienkach, i na dole - na butach. Znowu, jak w przypadku kwiatów, zasada jest jedna: "Im więcej, tym lepiej!".

Surprisingly, feathers in spring 2018 are present everywhere - at the top - on dresses and at the bottom - on shoes. Again, as with the flowers, the only rule is: "The more, the better!".

 TRANSPARENTNOŚĆ / TRANSPARENCY 

Zakrywamy co chcemy, odkrywamy, także, co chcemy! Bardzo podoba mi się ten trend, oczywiście w granicach rozsądku. Wszystko musi być odsłonięte z klasą i smakiem.

We cover what we want to and we uncover what we want to! I like this trend very much but of course within reason. What is uncovered, must be done with class and taste.

 NIETYPOWY TRENCZ / UNTYPICAL TRENCH COAT

Tniemy, zakrywamy, rozpinamy - zmieniamy trencz na różne sposoby. Ten trend także bardzo przypadł mi do gustu, tym bardziej, ze mam już niejeden pomysł jak zmienić typowy płaszcz w coś ciekawego.

We cut, uncover, unbutton - we change the trench coat in various ways. I love this trend and I already have some ideas how to change this typical coat into something very interesting.

WZÓR, WZÓR, WZÓR / PATTERN, PATTERN, PATTERN

Dużo wszystkiego. Tak opisałabym ten trend. Czyli łączymy wzory, kolory, tkaniny - wszystko według własnego uznania. Mam wrażanie, że w tym momencie nie można nawet przesadzić. Tym trendem możemy idealnie określić wszystkie wiosenne trendy - szaleństwo, byle od stóp do głów!

A lot of everything. This is how I would describe this trend. We combine patterns, colours, fabrics - everything as we like it. I have an impression that in that moment there is no "too much". This trend perfectly describes all trends for spring 2018 - craziness, as long as it's from head to toes!

SPRING 2018 FASHION SHOWS

WHITE LOVE

Taki kolor jak czerń czy biel nigdy nie wyjdzie z mody, bo to po prostu klasyka i baza do wszelkich modowych 'udziwnień', lecz wiosna 2018 nie proponuje nam jedynie bieli, ale biel od stóp do głów! Komplet, sukienka lub koszula i spodnie w bieli? Oczywiście! Byle od stóp do głów!

Colours such as black or white are always in fashion. They are classic and serve as the basis for further experiments with trends. But what designers propose for the spring 2018 is not only white colour, but whiteness from head to toes! White suit, dress, shirt and trousers? Of course! But only from head to toes!

 

 

ROMANTIC FLOWERS 

Ok, zgoda, to nic dziwnego, że kwiaty królują na wiosnę. Jakby powiedziała Miranda Priestley (Diabeł ubiera się u prady): "Kwiaty na wiosnę? Odkrywcze!". Lecz jest coś innego w tych kwiatowych stylizacjach w propozycjach na wiosnę 2018. Z jednej strony są delikatne i romantyczne, a z drugiej widać, że projektanci przełamują tą delikatność jakimś "nieromantycznym" akcentem: nerką, grubym swetrem, sportowymi butami.

Ok, fine, nothing revealing about the fact that flowers are popular in spring. As Miranda Priestley (The Devil Wears Prada) would say: "Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking!". But there is something new in these floral outfits proposed on runways for the Spring 2018. They are, on the one hand, delicate and romantic and on the other hand designers try to break down this delicacy with some unromantic element: bum bag, thick sweater or sneakers.

 

STRIPES, STRIPES, STRIPES

Dużo, w różnych kierunkach, w różnych kolorach i różnych stylach. Znów robi się odrobinę romantycznie. Ale wcale nie nudno! ;)

A lot of stripes, in different directions, in different colours and in different styles. Again, we notice that it's pretty romantic. But not boring at all! ;)

 

COLOUR EXPLOSION

Zazwyczaj projektanci "wybierają" sobie jeden kolor i mówią: "Tej wiosny nosimy pomarańcz!". Tym razem nosimy...wszystkie kolory tęczy! Żółty, czerwony, niebieski, fioletowy, zielony, różowy i wszystkie inne, jakie przyjdą wam do głowy. Cieszę się bardzo z tego powodu, bo nie ukrywam, że nie mam w szafie zestawów w każdym kolorze, więc gdy modne są wszystkie, ułatwia mi to życie ;).

Usually designers "pick" one colour and say: "This spring we wear orange!". But this Spring we'll wear...every colour of the rainbow! Yellow, red, blue, purplr, green, pink and any colours your heart desires. I must admit that my closet is not colourful and if I can wear any colour I want, and don't have to buy various clothes in one specific colour just for one season, I'm more than happy.

 

BLACK AND WHITE 

Znowu, nic nowego w trendach ale to połączenie jest podstawowym wyznacznikiem, od którego wszystko się zaczyna. A bez bazy nie można stworzyć czegoś nowego. Każdy malarz powtarza: "Najpierw naucz się malować portrety i martwą naturę, potem eksperymentuj". Pamiętacie jak wyglądały ostatnie obrazy Picassa? Sprawdźcie od jakich obrazów zaczynał. Wniosek?

Again, B&W is nothing new in trends but this combination is something that everything starts with. Without basis you cannot create anything new. Every painter says: "Firstly, learn how to paint portraits and still life, then you can experiment". Doyou remember the last works of Picasso? Look what he painted at the beginning. Conclusions?

 

OLD SCHOOL

Oglądając niektóre kolekcje (głównie prezentowaną przez Gucci i Moschino), miałam wrażenie, że cofnęłam się w czasie. Moschino przypomniało mi młodą Madonnę, buntującą się w kabaretkach, krótkich spódniczkach i sznurach pereł. Z kolei Gucci przywiodło mi na myśl szalone lata 80. Marynarki z szerokimi ramionami, spodnie z wysokim stanem czy kolorowe dresy. Hm...i tu nasuwa się pytanie: czy jeszcze kiedykolwiek projektanci wymyślą coś nowego ? A wy co o tym myślicie?

While looking at different collections I had this weid impressionthat I went back in time (mainly while looking at Gucci's and Moschino's collection). Moschino presented a collection that reminded me of young Madonna, with all elements typical of her: fishnet tights, short skirts and long pearls. Gucci collection, on the other hand, reminds me of  the 80s in general. Shoulder pad blazers, high waisted pants and colourful joggers. This leads to the question of whether designers are able to come up with something new? What do you think?
